The Pr’ Kokol organic hill farm is situated in the village of Gradišče, only a few kilometres from Litija. From here, the view extends to the Kamnik Alps, the Zasavje hills, all the way to Dolenjska and even Triglav. The primary activities are livestock farming and milk production. At the initiative of friends enthusiastic about her homemade bread baked in a bread oven, Mrs Breda registered the complementary activity of traditional bread-baking and pasta-making many years ago. She has already received numerous awards for the quality of the bread-baking and for preparing the walnut potica. For hikers who take part in the night hike to the church of St. Mary Magdalene in Gradišče, the farm is a great stopping point. Guests can try the homemade bread and potica, as well as the homemade spirits and wine. They also organise “From grain to bread” workshops. Guests are welcomed at the farm by prior arrangement every day of the week.
